About Matthew:

Matthews journey began when his/her/their grandfather traveled from Palermo, Sicily thru Ellis Island in pursue for a better life to provide for his family. Matthews family eventually settled in Brooklyn NY.

The Queensboro Institute of Music & Dance was acquired by his/her/their Grandfather and ran for over 50+ years where inside, Matthew’s movement & music journey began. While growing up Matthew had occasional visits to his/her/their Aunt Sandra Aldini’s dance classes at LaGuardia HS, learning along side some of New York’s most iconic artists of our time.

Matthew knew that they did not fit the mainstream artist mold from an early age which made him/her/they/that bitch more passionate to be authentic. After relocating from NY to Texas- while still in high school, Dec 2004, Matthew continued his/her/their dance journey in the ‘Dirty South’ learning different styles of dance, eventually acquiring his/her/their Fine Arts Degree In Fort Worth TX, with Velocity Dance Company, dancing alongside well known artists like Leon Bridges.

Student by day, Matthew had to get creative to pay for tuition, simultaneously dancing inside Uptown Dallas’ gay bars thus meeting the pole inside the club, self-teaching to pole dance while earning tips. In 2010, Matthew was turned down from Dallas’s only pole studios thus making it impossible for him/her/them to learn formally inside a pole studio, forcing Matthew to be a self taught stripper, until moving to Austin Texas in 2014. Brass Ovaries, in Austin TX was the first studio known to openly accept male pole dancers.

Since 2017, Matthew has trained at many studios formally throughout the US & Mexico, acquiring titles as Worlds First Pole Pageant Queen & Worlds First US Pole Sport Federations Male Classique Competitor and many more competition wins under his/her/their belt.

Better known for their raw feminine energy and sultry, unique ways, it is clear that Matthew has absorbed a sense of style and shapes within the lights & shadows of the raves and the gay strip bars throughout his/her/their one of a kind movement journey.

Currently Matthew studies digital audio in Austin Texas while traveling to teach pole throughout the United States.
