Liz Roncka's Bio: Before discovering pole dance and fitness, Liz was a physical therapist, a Pilates studio owner, and a professional dancer. Upon completion of her graduate degree at Boston University, Liz spent over a decade as a physical therapist working in a variety of settings from the intensive care units of Boston Medical Center to a private clinic specializing in the treatment of musicians and dancers. After years of dancing “on the side,” Liz shifted her primary focus to dance and fitness. Liz's passion for dance was focused on improvisation and contemporary dance. She has been dancing professionally for nearly 25 years.
In 2014, Liz took her first pole dance class. For her, pole dancing is the perfect combo of fitness and dance. While she loves building strength and flexibility, low flow and stilettos are her fave. These days her movement focus is pole dance. She can be found teaching Pole Dance Circuit at Boston University as well as a weekly heels choreo class at Boston Pole Fitness.
She is also a certified Pilates instructor and elevatED certified instructor of Pole Dance Level I & II and Flexibility. She is currently a full-time dance educator and administrator at Boston University.
